Trent G. Marbach

Welcome to the academic website of Trent G. Marbach.

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Graphs@Ryerson group within the Department of Mathematics at Ryerson University, Canada. Previous to this, I have been a postdoctoral fellow in the Nankai-Baidu Joint Laboratory within the school of computer science at Nankai University, China, as well as in the School of Mathematics at Monash University, Australia. My PhD was awarded at by the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Queensland in 2016.

I was originally trained in design theory, and in particular on the theory of latin squares. I have also done work on various computer science topics related to cloud computing, including cloud storage and cloud gaming, which has involved machine learning and using blockchains for security. Recently, I have been working on Pursuit-Evasion games on graphs and complex network models.
